The Creston City Council discussed ordinances regarding fireworks use around the July 4th holiday and chickens as urban livestock.
City Administrator Mike Taylor said that while the council is looking to move forward on allowing chickens to be raised within city limits, the fireworks ordinance underwent some changes.
There will be a public hearing in Creston on November 17th to get a final ruling on both ordinances.
